I wonder at those passing by;
people in cars and on the streets,

They seem happy

Perhaps that is all that matters
"happy in a cage", the new adage
why bother trying to change the world

but Happiness is a mediocre feeling;
Blinded by bland Content you no longer mind
You have nothing left to live for
